Our client is a Fortune 500, NYSE listed Global FMCG who have an great opportunity for a Director of Learning and Development for their China organisation, based out of Shenzhen.
The role will have a strong focus on the design and delivery element within their Corporate Academy to support their China strategy and roadmap. This will include Leadership and Management Development as well Strategy, Culture and Performance. The role will work with external vendors, accredited external and internal facilitators and manage a team of two within this COE. A large part of the role will see you work very closely with senior stakeholders facilitating Strategic Meetings, Leadership and Management Programs (both in-house and external global programs), leadership discussions as well as change and cultural implementation.
Our client in interested in innovators that can support change initiatives, influencing others to create a culture of high performance and continuous learning and improvement. Candidates with experience with AI, Gamification and Digitalisation would be of particular interest. You will be a natural coach and mentor to the wider learning team, acting as a role model to inspire and motivate. This is a very busy role so you will need to have high energy and be passionate about your work.
It is critical that the post-holder is bi-lingual in English and Mandarin and have at least 12+ years specialist experience in Learning & Development and have a number of years' experience in a Senior management or Lead role. Experience working within the context of a globally aligned Corporate University would be highly beneficial as well as strong design and facilitation experience. You will need to have team management experience and be innovative in your thinking, demonstrating how you have supported organisational capability.
