My client, a financial services company based in central London is recruiting an ER & Change Consultant to support during a merger.
Reporting to Head of Employee Relations this individual will be tasked with providing ER support to the change management team in addition to business as usual ER case management
In this role you will provide front line employee relations support for the parent and acquired business. You'll assist with the review of global people policies and support staff exits from the business. You will be pivotal in advising managers on policy in line with current legislation driving consistent application of policy and procedure, escalating issues as appropriate.
You will support, coach and advise managers in the resolution of ER issues - disciplinary, performance management, employee grievances and appeals etc. You will also provide ad-hoc HR advisory services on all HR related processes and issues including employee development, performance management, employee retention, international assignment management, promotions and compensation. You will assist the Head of Employee Relations in supporting and acting as point of contact with other ER members of the team in order to ensure regular dialogue on case advisory and policy work in addition to ER global matters arising (eg updates to handbooks, support with contracts of employment in overseas jurisdictions, policy and project work)
The client is looking for someone who has proven experience of operating as an ER Specialist with both the technical case work coverage in addition to project work focussing specifically on business integration. You must have strong relationship building, influence and consultation skills.
