My client is a leading provider of premium, modern prime city accommodation across the UK and they are looking to appoint a Head of HR to join their team in the West End.
Working as part of the Senior Leadership team this role is responsible for the creation and execution of the people plan for the organisation. You will be providing HR Generalist support to all UK based offices, with a strong emphasis on operational HR and management coaching. You will ensure there is effective strategy and succession planning in place to secure the best talent, creating and delivering bespoke training as needed. You will update policies, procedures and processes as required in response to legislative changes and to meet the needs of the business, whilst supporting the people managers on the smooth roll out when there are changes.
Reporting directly to the COO, CFO you will be responsible for bringing the HR function in house and developing a HR strategy to support a growing private organisation currently acquiring additional properties across the UK. Managing change you will have experience working on projects around culture change, workforce planning and hands on HR practise. This role will see you working with the Acquisitions team to project manage ant TUPE activity for all acquisitions. The key areas you will initially support on will be reward, employee engagement, talent and organisational development. Within this role you will be provide expert HR and Employee Relations advice and guidance on a variety of cases whilst supporting Managers on how to pre-empt organisational and people issues. You will be responsible for delivering the training where required and empowering Managers to support and develop their employees.
This role will have one direct report with the potential to grow to an additional headcount so as to support on all admin related duties within the role. You will have strong coaching and leadership skills and have a minimum of 2 years working at a management level. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with a background working in a fast paced consumer focused business. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build rapport quickly, particularly with Executive team to be a trusted HR Consultant. You will be highly analytical and have a good understanding of systems and metrics and will have managed complex ER issues end to end. Self-motivated with a passion to approach all tasks in a enthusiastic way you will have the opportunity to really own your department with the support of the Executive team.
This role will require travel across the UK however this will not be on a daily basis and any travel will be reimbursed.
Salary: £85000 - £100000
