Well established private firm in the professional services space is seeking an HR Director level individual to serve as people lead/head of HR, reporting into the firm's CEO. Operating both as a strategist and business partner, this individual will come with a well developed HR toolkit across specialty areas. Projects will include potential systems upgrades, compliance initiatives and continuous engagement projects to enhance the performance of the firm's multistate workforce. You'll interface heavily with regional managers, providing them bespoke HR solutions and day to day support. You will oversee all areas of HR inclusive of the Talent Acquisition function, so some exposure to recruitment strategy would be a plus, as would work in a partnership model with strong executive reach.
25% travel would be required in the role, with domestic trips.
Required Education, Experience and Competencies include:
BA/BS minimum degree from an accredited university
Prior experience out of a small or midsized company settings (500-1000 employees) with 15 or more years of experience (with best practices knowledge perhaps from a larger company in your earlier background)
Significant people management (5 or more years managing ~3 direct reports).
Recent work in a firm with 300-1000 employees, multisite/state experience, ideally familiar with a partnership environment
