My client is a premium media company covering both London and global talent with head quarters in Los Angeles, they are an ambitious and growing business. They are looking to appoint a HR Manager to support the UK head office.
As my clients first HR hire you will be responsible for setting up HR and developing a HR agenda for the business. This will include the complete employee lifecycle from creating a new handbook, policies and procedures, recruitment to reward and benefits. As part of the management team you will be expected to guide and educate the SLT to best HR practice and support the development of a successful workforce. You will link in with counterparts across Germany and the US to ensure a harmony in new HR initiatives but will have full autonomy of the HR for the UK.
The business is full of vibrant, dynamic and creative employees and whilst working virtually now will be based in a London and working from home. They are keen for the HR Manager to help employee engagement and upskill a manager population whilst building HR projects that support the continued and exciting growth of the business.
To be successful in this role you must be a full HR generalist and will have covered the full employee lifecycle. You will have sole ownership of HR in a fast paced and energetic business so will have either previously set up a HR function, worked in a standalone HR role or been a senior HR professional in a similar small business.
You will have excellent employment law knowledge and hold your CIPD or equivalent.
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
Location: City of London, work from home.
