L&D Manager

My Oxfordshire based client is looking to hire an L&D Manager. This is a fixed term contract (likely for 12-18 months) to cover a period of maternity leave. The company is very forward thinking and innovative, with a huge amount of emphasis on nurturing and developing talent, and this position plays a key part in that success.

As L&D Manager, the position is directly responsible for managing all core curriculum programmes, digital learning programmes and the LMS. The focus is on project management and end to end programme design, as opposed to facilitation, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to understand training needs analysis and key requirements, feedback and improvements. You will also manage 3rd party vendors and be responsible for an L&D Administrator.

You will be an experienced L&D professional with a track record of end to end design for core curriculum programmes and digital learning, and training needs analysis. Alongside your L&D experience, you will have good analytical and communication skills, be used to building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders and able to demonstrate a track record of project managing and delivering business critical programmes. Experience gained supporting Head office functions is preferred, this might be within Professional or Financial Services or a similar environment.

Due to the nature of this assignment you will be immediately available or with a notice period of 1 month. The client is based in commuting distance from Oxford, Swindon, Reading and the Cotswolds.
