We have been engaged with a growing, global at tech industry client to help them identify and hire a Talent Management/Learning & Development Manager. The client is based in Downtown Manhattan, with just under 300 employees across 2 US offices, Canada, and Japan. The workforce is largely comprised of tech, sales, and corporate functions staff. While the company had an L&D function in not-so-distant past, they're looking to rebuild the capability around a strategic framework and embed talent management programs into the mix. This role reports to an incredibly thoughtful Director of People Operations who has fostered an employee centric culture. You'll work as a vital part of a close knit HR team that is collaborating to rebuild HR as a strategic business partnering capability with solid support from executive leadership. This is an individual contributor role.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of expertise in building talent management and learning & development capabilities. Expertise in management development, tech, and sales training is a requirement, as is experience working with LMS software. Experience in a scaling ad tech or tech environment is strongly preferred. Some broader HR business partnering experience would be a plus.
