Job Description

Reporting to the APAC HR Director based in Singapore, your responsibilities are both strategic and operational in nature. The key order of business is to develop the firm's Talent Management/Development frameworks across its emergent Southeast Asian offices, with Singapore serving as the point of departure for the region. This means building and taking ownership of the entire spectrum of talent processes, including but not limited to performance measurement and reporting, leadership coaching, career roadmaps etc. Among the utmost is cultivating an environment that encourages employees to constantly challenge and better themselves. As a key advisor to the business, you should likewise be on the lookout for talent related gaps that might arise - be it extant or forecasted, and propose requisite solutions proactively. You are likewise involved in the implementation of high-impact talent programs to improve the bench strength of leadership talent. Put simply, you possess the foresight to see Talent Management/Development as an equally critical component of the broader workforce strategy in meeting organisational goals and business needs.

The Successful Candidate

This role will ideally require candidates with experience crafting and conceptualising talent frameworks in a regional capacity. Strong and proven track records in leading and overseeing talent development projects from start to finish will likewise be looked upon favourably. In other words, the client values candidates who are not easily satisfied with the status quo or simply looking to engage in 'maintenance' work. Instead, profiles that seek continuous improvements are preferred. Strong communication skills do not simply mean speaking well, but also speaking up at appropriate junctures.
