We're working with a well-known, reputable private wealth and investment management firm based in Downtown Manhattan as they look to hire a Senior Employee Relations Manager. The firm is in the midst of an exciting transformation with HR being reshaped to support the evolving needs of the business, which is poised for considerable growth looking forward. This Senior ER Manager will be aligned very closely with the HR Business Partners and the business on all performance matters, leading all employee relations investigations across the company. There is Employee Relations Analyst on the team who handles exit interviews as well as monitoring of data, reporting, and analysis. This role reports into an Associate General Counsel who is leading employee relations for the company. This is a replacement for an individual who recently left the company to take on a broader HR role elsewhere. As the Associate General Counsel will add some new responsibilities to their plate, the ER Manager role has been upgraded to a Senior Manager, as they need someone who can take on a broader scope of responsibilities and own them at a higher level.

Our client is seeking candidates with 8+ years of employee relations experience. Prior experience in a dedicated employee relations center of excellent role within the financial services sector would be a strong plus, but our client is open to considering employee relations specialists out of other professional services sectors, or an HR business partner with a deep spike of expertise in employee relations gained within the financial services sector. The Sr. ER Manager will work directly with the business on all performance issues alongside the HRBPs and will lead on all investigations. Our client is looking for someone who can elevate their management team's capabilities in proactively documenting and managing employee relations issues, as well as getting ahead of them through communication and leadership.

Our client is currently working 100% remote, but intends to transition to a hybrid working model with an expectation of a few days in the office per week, with travel to their various locations nationally as needed. This role can be based in Downtown Manhattan, Jersey City, Boston, or Philadelphia. An undergraduate degree is required for this role, but a JD is not required.
