Our client, a global leader in the insurance sector are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior HR Business Partner who will be managing and delivering an outstanding HR Business service to the Insurance Underwriting and Claims businesses in the UK on a full-time permanent basis.

The position will be based in their HQ in the City of London and offers hybrid/remote working.

The key purpose of this role is to align the firms' Human Resources initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the role holder will work in a matrix structure consisting of the business and HR leaders. They will work with the Regional Business Unit Leader, and their teams to drive the people plan which supports the achievement of strategic goals.

The successful individual will have:

Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting regional and/or functional business needs.
People Leadership within Operations, Technology, Finance, Marketing or Data Analytics experience welcome.
Qualifications such as CIPD Certification or equivalent are preferred.
Ability to manage competing, high priority demands and prioritize workloads while managing projects and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines.
Solid practical knowledge of talent management disciplines, such as: performance management, succession planning, talent planning, competency development, compensation, employee relations, and talent analytics.
Experience of working on TUPE transfers and Acquisitions within the UK, in addition, knowledge of working across European countries.
Demonstrated business acumen to drive organizational and people-related strategies and outcomes.
Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with leaders and stakeholders to drive organizational change.
Ability to work within constraints and to challenge the status quo.
Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.
