We're currently working on an exciting Snr HR Business Partner role (FTC) with a leading global insurance business based in the City. This is a highly strategic position and will be supporting two growing business areas with the opportunity to work closely with the Global Heads sitting in London. Reporting into the Head of HR UK, this role will as part of a wider HR function and work with senior managers to understand business strategies and align the people strategy and programmes to achieve business goals.
As an HR leader, you will be expected to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data and taking ownership for key outcomes. Key responsibilities will also include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor on a range of HR issues such as reward, employee relations, talent acquisition and development, performance and OD/Change
- Working with the business to identify Learning & Development needs of their employees and liaise with L&D to determine the appropriate development approach
- Supporting business managers during the Performance Management process with goal setting and giving feedback
- Working with leadership team members during annual Comp cycle to ensure the alignment of rewards to performance and partner with the business to review Talent and Succession planning
This is a highly visible role and requires a strong HR Business Partner with experience of strategic business partnering, organisational effectiveness/development, employment law and change management. You must have a strong financial services background to be considered for this and the ability to build long term relationships with stakeholders. The position requires an assertive and commercially aware HR professional, who is available to take a contract as reasonably short notice.
