A fascinating position has arisen with a well-known household name in the financial services industry to become a Senior Manager in the Reward Team. With a dual reporting line in to the Director of Performance and Reward, and also in to the Head of Executive Compensation, this position will give you breadth and exposure to some of the most critical reward projects in the bank.
You will be responsible for owning the regulation and Material Risk Takers (MRT) agenda, inclusive of tracking key changes/hires in to the business, whilst ensuring the firm stays compliant with the FCA rules and regulations when processing pay. The role will also have responsibility for ensuring RemCo packs and papers are meticulously planned and prepared, while being the subject matter expert regarding the Senior Managers Regime (SMR). You will also be main relationship holder for the Non Executive Directors for the bank, whilst assisting in typical reward projects inclusive of the annual compensation round, the variable incentive design work, any benchmarking, job grading or salary survey work, and also helping with reporting requests. You will manage a Reward Analyst in the team.
The culture of this firm will suit a hardworking, on the ball Reward Manager, ideally coming from Financial Services. The firm is a collaborative business, so someone who can display excellent relationship management skills with the ability to remain consistently level headed to deal with stakeholders of all seniority is a must. You will have superb knowledge of the regulatory landscape relating to the FCA and have had experience tracking MRTs, and ideally exposure with SMR. Line management skills isn't a necessity but would be beneficial. You will be analytical, bright, inquisitive and someone who enjoys face to face relationship building.
