Our client, a noted small financial in Midtown East with an employee population of 500, is seeking a skilled comp professional at the five year or more level.
This individual will be tasked with carving out a compensation function from several generalists who are currently managing it. The ideal candidate is a proactive, communicative, and team oriented compensation professional ideally out of financial or professional services to lead all compensation activities including benchmarking and general administration. You'll also help set and improve on compensation strategy alongside leadership. Exposure to workday and carried interest would be ideal, and strong excel is a requirement. Experience administering compensation plans, benchmarking, market surveys, customizing compensation plans for diverse employee populations, and some level of design work will allow for success in this role
Strong Communications, analytical skills, and Excel (strong excel is a must)
Exposure to financial services, legal, or consulting environments, even if larger, will be required as understanding the sense of urgency and service level in equivalent settings will be important to this hire.
